Jake Walker is your definition bad boy, starting fights, doing drugs, ditching school, and using girls. He runs Elk Creek High, teachers fear him, guys want to be him, and every girl wants to be with him. Jake is fully aware that he is hot and knows how to charm a girl and uses that to his advantage, when he sets his eyes on someone, he gets what he wants. His eyes are now set on the new girl Kaylie Burke who moved in next door to him. Jake is determined to be the one to get with the new girl.

Kaylie Burke will be starting her senior year at Elk Creek in the fall with Jake. She had to leave old school because of how bad she was being bullied and harassed. When she meets Jake, she is attracted to him, but refuses to trust him as she knows his type. Kaylie fears of being hurt again and just wants to get through her senior year drama free.

Jake thinks Kaylie will be an easy target, believing she is a standard good girl since she would be of the few virgins in their grade. He soon finds out that she has a lot of walls up and it will be difficult for him to get close to her. He sees this as a challenge, which excites him and does what he can to break her walls down. But as he learns more about Kaylie his views on her drastically change.

Will Kaylie let Jake in? Will Jake get what he wants? What will the relationship be like?
