The Bounty Hunter and His Wiccan Mate

The first book in a series of Bounty Hunter stories, The Bounty Hunter and His Wiccan Mate revolves around Fury and the mate who rejected him. A witch by the name of Margot, and the younger sister of Maxine, our favorite Wiccan comrade from the Desert Series.

After being rejected, Fury is angry at the fact he was mated to someone who wasn't meant to be his and resents the Moon Goddess for playing a sick joke on him; however, he learns that it was the Wiccan Goddess of Light, Miranda, that did the pairing.

When Margot returns home after learning she was mated to a werewolf and rejects him because she's already engaged to a wizard-- Ethan. Because Margot is an empath, she feels what the rejection does to Fury which takes everything out of her. After returning home with Maxine's aide, Margot tries to get back to her day-to-day life and plan her marriage to Ethan. Unfortunately, Margot continues to feel agonizing pain every time she is intimate with Ethan, even when she is alone. Not knowing the reason behind it is because her bond with Fury is not completely severed.

Margot has no clue as to why she is constantly in pain and turns to her sister for help. Maxine is just as clueless but thinks that Allie may be able to help. When Margot learns the reason behind her agony, she's floored. She doesn't want to face Fury again but must if she wants their mate bond to be severed. Fury on the other hand refuses to accept her rejection, as he sees this as his opportunity to win Margot's heart.

Fury makes a deal with Margot. Give the remaining time left in her engagement to win her heart. If he fails, he will accept her rejection and let her go. Refuse, and he will keep their bond intact and force her to feel the pain of infidelity two times as strongly because of her empathic powers. Margot, not thrilled at being threatened reluctantly agrees, confident that Fury will fail. She continues to plan her wedding, but little things that Fury does to garner attention and affection capture her heart.

Ethan, unaware of what Margot has agreed to, continues about his life without a care in the world. His lack of impulse control, attention to detail, and overall care about their relationship makes Margot realize the difference between the two men and how they treat her, to the point she starts to question her love for Ethan.

Will Fury be able to win his mate's heart?

What happens when Ethan finds out that Margot has a fated mate who is a werewolf?

Will Margot make her choice out of obligation and guilt, or out of love?
