For Alison, life was supposed to be simple, get married to her college sweetheart after graduation and have that small family she has always dreamed of.

But life never adheres to one's plans, things fall apart when her parents die on the way to her graduation. Her supposed ride-or-die turns out to be a fraud.

To make ends meet, Alison decides to be a surrogate. But things aren't as simple as they seem. Alison is thrown into a world full of conspiracy and creatures that should only belong in fairy tales.

"Alpha! Humans in the territory!" a breathless Beta let out immediately upon entry into the Alpha's office. "Alpha the full moon is in two days! We can't have humans within the pack borders! It's too dangerous!"
