Doctor Torben Haugen is a brilliant pharmacologist and CEO of one of the biggest creators and distributors of medications in the world. Intensely private and reclusive, he’s choosy about who enters his home and his life. When he has an internal security issue, he demands the best of the best and he hires a cyber security company to assist in sorting through the issues.

When Jesse’s mother falls ill and demands she cover her shifts cleaning the home of Doctor Haugen, Jesse is incapable of refusing the woman. Instantly sparks fly between the reclusive doctor and the assassin but when Jesse’s friend Clara realizes the doctor is in danger, she immediately employs Jesse to keep him safe. Now Jesse is torn between protecting the man and protecting her heart.

Jesse will have to decide if she’s willing to risk it all, including her heart, for the man. Doctor Haugen is speaking her love language but it’s a language even she didn’t know she knew.
